How it works

Every course, built the same way.

Every CrashSports course follows the same format: a short onboarding personalizes your curriculum, then you work through bite-size lessons with interactive diagrams and checkpoint quizzes. The NFL is live now with two standalone courses: one for understanding football, one for winning fantasy leagues. MLB, NBA, NHL, and PGA are coming soon and will work exactly the same way. Select a course below to see it in detail.

2

Five-question onboarding

Tell us your knowledge level (Rookie → Coordinator), favorite NFL team, which track you want to start, how much time you have, and your learning style. Takes about 60 seconds.

3

Get your personalized track

Based on your goal, you're placed on one of five tracks: NFL Basics, Strategy, Defense & Coverages, Team IQ, or Play Calling & Game Planning. Each track is 3–5 modules in the right order.

4

Work through lessons

Each lesson is self-contained: a clear concept, key terms, real-game examples, and, where relevant, an interactive diagram. Most lessons take 6–10 minutes.

5

Pass the module quiz

Every module ends with a 3–5 question checkpoint quiz. Score 80% to complete it. Retake anytime; the answer explanations help everything click.

6

Watch football differently

The point isn't a certificate. It's that the next game you watch, you spot pre-snap reads, recognize the coverage, and finally see what the coaches see.

Personalized curriculum

Your track is built around your answers: level, team, time, and goal.

Interactive diagrams

16 football diagrams using a Madden-style playcard aesthetic. Not clipart.

Team IQ track

Every Team IQ lesson is generated for your specific team: real roster, real scheme, real rivals.

FAQ

Do I need to know any football to start?

No. NFL Basics starts from zero: what's a down, what's a touchdown, what does each position do.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, in your browser's local storage. Same device, same progress. Future versions will sync to a cloud account.

What if I want to switch tracks?

Hit 'Edit onboarding answers' on your course page. Change your goal and the curriculum re-routes immediately.

How current is the content?

The curriculum reflects the modern NFL: analytics-aware 4th-down decisions, pattern-match coverages, and personnel groupings from recent seasons.

Can I retake quizzes?

Yes, anytime. Module quizzes can be re-taken to reinforce learning or check retention.
